Hermione Granger dies during the Battle of Hogwarts.

She wakes again in 1929 as Hermione Nott, the only daughter of an ancient pure-blood family, with memories of another life that disappear a little more with every passing year.

By the time she reaches Hogwarts, Hermione no longer remembers Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, the war, or the girl she used to be. She knows only the life she has now. She is a Nott, a Slytherin, and the unusually powerful witch her family always expected her to become.

There is only one small complication.

At ten years old, her parents betroth her to Orion Black.

What begins as an unwanted arrangement between two old families slowly becomes a rivalry, then a friendship, and eventually something neither of them was supposed to choose for themselves.

But Hermione was never supposed to exist in this time, and as Hogwarts begins revealing secrets that feel strangely familiar, her forgotten past may change a future she no longer remembers.

After all, Tom Riddle is already at Hogwarts.
