Small Town
Running from home was never a good idea, but running for her life was the only option she had. Being caught in at a murder scene was something that she never imagined. Shock has her passing out and waking up in a stranger's house who only wants to get rid of her. Trying to stand up on her own two feet, what will she do when her past catches up with her fast? Extract The sound of something slamming on the table shook me once again. I turned around and saw a backpack on the table. "Here's your shit. Clothes washed, food for the way and water." I nodded, knowing that my time had come. "Thank you... for everything." I mumbled and reached for the bag. He shoved it into my hand and I hooked it over my shoulder. I didn't look back again and headed for the door. I opened the door and stepped out and just like that I was alone again. I looked around and it looked like he owned a decently sized farm. I could hear the chickens and cows. There was a little small river around the side with swans swimming past. There were all kinds of birds, ducks, geese and some other local little birds. I walked down the pathway and made my way through, hoping that it would lead me through to the nearest town. It had been a couple of hours, my stamina wasn't what it used to be since I ran from home. I barely found food. And avoided being in public at night. I looked up at the sky, it was getting dark and cloudy which was a stark contrast to when I left. It was bright and sunny although it was September. It usually rained like crazy. And just when I thought that it was going to rain, I felt the first drop on my face. I quickly sped up and looked for shelter. All I needed was a massive tree. My determination to find shelter was fading as my legs grew tired. The forest was never ending, when was I going to find a road here?

1st book of Cursed series in continuation of Shivanya series "You should stop staring at me like I'm some monster," Dhruv said coldly. Taara replied looking into his eyes "Then stop behaving like one, Rawal sa (prince) " For the first time in years... he laughed. But Dhruv didn't fall for her because she was soft. He fell because she walked straight into his darkness without trembling. "I ruin everything I touch," he warned her while caressing her cheeks Taara looked him straight in the eyes. "Then maybe I was born to survive ruin. " What Taara didn't know was - Dhruv had already decided something terrifying. He believed she was the only one who could break his curse. And he was willing to destroy the entire kingdom to keep her beside him. They called him the shadow of the kingdom. A person who doesn't have any identity of his own. Who lives under shadow of someone else. Prince Dhruv - the second prince of mahawargarh. A widower. Most intelligent and interested only in politics . A feared warrior. And the father of a five-year-old daughter who barely smiled anymore. People whispered that something inside him had died the night his wife did. But no one knew his real secret. No one knew the prince locked himself behind closed doors every night, drowning in dangerous addictions to silence the demons in his head. No one knew his hands trembled from withdrawal before battles. No one knew he believed he was cursed. And then came Taara. A maid who was too fearless for her own good. Too confident to lower her eyes. Too brave to fear a broken prince. She was just a maid working in his kingdom not aware of the fact...that she is going to be the curse breaker for him. " I am not innocent at all my little moon " he replied while moving towards her with slow steps " I am cursed " he smirked. Highy mature content
