Because of a nuclear accident, people were infected with a disease that didn’t kill or harm them, but gave them a curse. Men and women were randomly transforming into various weapons for no apparent reason and burning those who weren’t infected with an unintentional touch. These people were rounded up then tested on for months, before integrated back into regular society, where their population rapidly increased.

Years later and everyone is infected. A choice has been given to the public- take an aptitude test and see if you’re eligible to be a part of an elite military where Wielders and Weapons are the only thing you’re fighting. If you don’t have a high percentage of the infection in your blood, are you given the chance to wield and if it’s overpowered you’re automatically a weapon. Men have dominated the Weapon population and women the Wielder.

When Christopher King, a mere high school boy who never dreamed of fighting, is forced to take the test how will he cope with the new life it brings?
