The Unclaimed Kitsune

Many old stories and tales told about strange things that came out in the moonlight, such as Demons, Oni, Onryo, Yokai, and among them were also Kitsune. Kitsune were told to have three personalities they could have, Playful and Mischievous, Kind and helpful, or Angry and powerful. The story of kitsune told of mystic foxes with magic over illusions, fire, tricks, spirits, and nature. the foxes gained a new tail every one hundred years or when they completed trials. The trials were secretive and no mortal had ever wrote about one. Kitsune were born like normal foxes with one tail and no magic to speak of. then if they survived one hundred years or if they found the first hidden trial and passed it they would gain their second tail and with it they would gain the first ability, the ability to thin cognitvely. and so one.
