Emma Anabelle Lanor, heir to the Kingdom of Erreira, knows that the Elites are corrupt. But when she overhears a conversation between her father and Jamison Rengard, her future husband, she realizes things are worse than she could ever have imagined. Meanwhile, rebellion is brewing.  The Commoners are done with Elite nonsense and are determined to take back what is rightfully theirs.  The fight isn't easy, but the rebels-who call themselves Labyrinthians-aren't ones to give up.  

Simon Glades and Luke Avery are the Robin Hoods of the Labyrinth.  When a beautiful young girl in a golden dress with a sword at her hip stumbles into their hideout, they are to say the least skeptical.  However, she insists that she's not a spy, is creepily good at stealing from Elite women, and can really kick butt with a blade.

Emma, Simon, and Luke ally together, but the Labyrinth leaders may not be so welcoming.  Not to mention that there's a huge ransom on Emma's head.  Will Emma be able to conceal her identity from the masters of guise?  And if she doesn't, will the dark secret of her past break friendships and end with what she fears most: to be turned in to the Elites?
