Tattooed across Lys's back is a map leading to the legendary treasure of the Dead King - and Rafe will do anything to claim it. He takes Lys aboard his ship, convinced that she is nothing more than the key to a fortune.

But Lys refuses to be anyone's prisoner.

As enemies close in, betrayals multiply and the hunt for the treasure turns deadly, the battle between captive and captain becomes something far more dangerous.

Because the Black Devil came for the treasure.
