BLACKWOOD COUNTRY THE BEGINNING

BLACKWOOD COUNTY

Six friends. One town. Secrets that were never meant to be found.

Cedar Falls is the kind of town where everyone knows everyone-and where the strangest things are always explained away as accidents.

For seventeen-year-old Noah Vane, life has always been simple. He lives alone in the small house his parents left behind, carrying only fragments of memories from before their deaths. With his best friend Simon Garrick, the calculating Michael Mercer, Maria Beckett, Angel Rivers, and the fearless Dua Thorne by his side, Noah believes his biggest problems are nothing more than school, friendships, and growing up.

Until people start turning up dead.

A mysterious stranger has entered Blackwood County.

His name is Hendrix Nickolas.

He isn't human-not entirely.

Born into a family bound by ancient supernatural traditions, Hendrix has come to Cedar Falls searching for the person he is destined to find. But whatever brought him to the town is connected to secrets far older than any of them realize.

As strange events begin to unfold, the six friends find themselves caught in a world they never knew existed.

And Noah, the one who has always felt like the weakest among them, begins to change.

Because there is something inside him.

Something powerful.

Something that grows stronger every time he comes face-to-face with the supernatural.

But power always comes with a price.

And the deeper they dig into the secrets of Blackwood County, the more they realize that their lives were never as ordinary as they believed.

Some secrets are buried for a reason.

And some people were never meant to be found.
