Blood Stained Hands

Presley Lockwood has spent years solving other people's mysteries. This time, she's the mystery.
When an FBI agent is found murdered, Presley arrives at the scene expecting to help uncover the truth.
Instead, she becomes the prime suspect.
The victim is dead. Presley is found at the scene with blood on her hands, and the evidence seems to point directly toward her.
Presley insists she didn't kill him.
But if she's innocent, why was she there?
As Presley begins investigating the FBI agent's past, she discovers that his murder may have attracted the attention of someone far more dangerous.
The Harlequin.
The name has appeared in cases before. A masked killer whose identity has never been certain. Sometimes there is one person behind the mask. Sometimes there are two. Sometimes there may be three.
Nobody knows who is underneath it.
But Presley knows one thing:
The Harlequin is watching.
As the investigation closes in around her, Presley has to prove she didn't murder the FBI agent while uncovering why the Harlequin has taken an interest in the case.
Someone wanted Presley at that crime scene.
Someone wanted her hands covered in evidence.
And the person behind the Harlequin mask isn't finished.
The next victim was an FBI agent. The evidence points to Presley. The Harlequin is back.
And this time, Presley isn't just solving a murder.
She's trying to survive the investigation
