Arieta Consuelo Segura-Perez is a troubled Argentinan with numerous tombstones around her life. While she has moved a lot, she had to overcome all types of tormentors. When her parents decide to take her to the United States, she has no choice but to learn English and the American customs. Upon going to the States, Arieta's foster father turns up missing. Only then does the poor teen understand the cultural divide. With the struggle against humanity, she has to learn what it's like to live in poverty.
