The Butcher

THE BUTCHER

Alvira was sixteen when her father disappeared.

It was supposed to be just another family gathering. She went there with her father and brother, not knowing that before the night was over, everything would change.

There were gunshots.

An explosion.

People running in every direction.

And then her father was gone.

Two years later, her uncle disappears too.

By then, Alvira has already escaped two kidnapping attempts, but she never thinks they are connected to her father's disappearance. Not until a detective begins investigating a series of kidnappings and murders surrounding a dangerous criminal known as the Butcher.

The Butcher is ruthless, careful, and almost impossible to find.

But the strangest thing is that even the people working for him don't know who he really is.

As Alvira and the detective get closer to the truth, things from her past start coming back.

Her uncle may have left behind more secrets than she realized.

Her brother remembers things about the night their father disappeared that he refuses to talk about.

And someone seems to be watching Alvira from the shadows.

Then the Butcher starts coming after her.

Now Alvira has to figure out why someone wants her dead, what she saw that night at sixteen, and what really happened to the people she lost.

But the closer she gets to the truth, the more she realizes that this isn't just about a killer.

Someone has been hiding the truth from her for years.

And finding out why might be the most dangerous thing she has ever done.
