Unstoppable
The claws had emerged before I'd even realised, gently tearing their way through my skin, running their way through my arms and changing my body into the one thing I thought I'd hated, but I'd begun to love more than anything: a monster. ---------------------- High school. A place where children go to grow their minds and adapt to adulthood. Where nothing but popularity and grades matter. I was a weird kid. I still am, but that's besides the point. One day, I walked into the wrong class, and something went wrong. Turns out, Things got weirder and weirder. Suddenly, popularity and grades don't really matter anymore. Survival does. ---------------------- *Blood, gore, violent murders, etc. Do happen in this book. * *It is in no way linked to any sort of actual murders or shootings (no shootings happen in a school) that have or will happen. My thoughts and respect go out to all of the families affected to any of this, and the only reason this book was created is because my ideas are lack lustre at best.* *I try to keep every chapter limited to around 1000 words. Too Stubborn To Be Broken
So just to warn you, this is one of my first attempts at writing. It starts off a little cliché in a 'too good to be true' sort of way, but hang in there. There's a twist or 2 that might surprise you. I wrote this before The Healer series and wasn't going to publish it, but 'my support group' really thought I should. What would you do if there was a Monster that one day popped up in your life? uninvited and seemed to know exactly where you were at all times? What if it almost ended your life? Would you tell someone and risk being told that you're crazy? Maria asks herself the same questions and she can't help but to wonder, why does it hunt her so? Can she figure out a way to make it disappear? And most importantly Will she survive? _____________________________________________ In this gruesome horror story the events take place in modern day West Virginia which is where you will meet Maria Nichole Grey: a young and lonely fifteen year old girl that is still grieving the death of her father who died in a car accident seven years ago, leaving her with her aloof mother who was almost never home to witness the strange and dangerous happenings that keep Maria in constant danger. Maria wasn't sure why or how the entity haunted her; she never played with a ouija bound and she never chanted Bloody Mary in her bathroom but on this particular day, when she was home alone, a huge terrifying Monster pounced on her from her closet and attacked her in her own room, the Monster itself was a huge, horrifying, sinister entity with startling glowing yellow eyes that seemed to stare into her soul. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way.
