Virginia looked different - and somehow exactly the same. Her hair was different, her clothes more elegant than Susan remembered, but there was still something unmistakably Virginia in the way she stood there: completely at ease, completely confident, as if the world simply made room for her.
Susan couldn't breathe properly. No. It couldn't be her.

But it was. Virginia's eyes found hers. Then she smiled - not a polite smile. A knowing one. "Susie?" Susan swallowed. "Virginia..." The name barely came out.
