Serpents & Silver | Draco Malfoy

He called her Princess because he knew she hated it.
Vivienne Blackwood had never been particularly fond of Draco Malfoy.
Unfortunately, Draco Malfoy was very fond of her.
Not in the way she would have preferred.
He enjoyed annoying her.
He enjoyed watching her roll her eyes.
He enjoyed stealing her seat just to make her complain.
But most of all, he enjoyed giving her ridiculous nicknames.
"Morning, Princess."
"Don't call me that."
"Of course, Princess."
She hated him.
Draco thought that was hilarious.
For years, their rivalry had been one of Slytherin's favorite forms of entertainment.
Two pure-bloods.
Two ambitious Slytherins.
Two people far too proud to admit when they were wrong.
But their final year at Hogwarts changes something.
The teasing becomes more personal.
The arguments last longer.
The jealousy becomes impossible to ignore.
And Draco begins to realize that perhaps he doesn't provoke Vivienne because he hates her.
Perhaps he does it because she's the only person whose attention he actually wants.
