Your Own Light

A companion for anyone still inside the storm.

This is a book about what happens after heartbreak, not the neat, tied up version, but the real one. The nights that feel too loud and too quiet at once. The slow, uncomfortable work of choosing yourself when staying feels safer. The strange relief of finally setting something down.

Written in short, honest pieces that move between poetry and reflection, this book follows four stages of healing: the storm you can't outrun, the quiet comfort found in solitude and small rituals, the boundaries that finally let you breathe, and the growth that arrives long after you stop expecting it.

This isn't a book written from someone who has already healed, looking back to teach you how. It's written from inside the process, messy, unfinished, still learning, because that's usually where healing actually happens.

For anyone who has ever loved too hard, stayed too long, or wondered if choosing themselves was allowed: this one's for you.
