Fairy Tail: Seven Years Beneath the Sun

Seven years ago, Tenrou Island disappeared.

Along with it vanished some of Fairy Tail's strongest mages... and Kaien Strauss's wife, Mirajane.

Left behind with their two-year-old daughter, Hime, Kaien is forced to face the one enemy his sword cannot defeat-loss.

As the wielder of Sun Breathing, the legendary swordsmanship created by Yoriichi Tsugikuni, Kaien possesses enough power to make even the strongest mages think twice before challenging him. But strength means little when he must raise his daughter alone while refusing to abandon the hope that Mirajane will someday return.

Seven years pass.

Fairy Tail refuses to fall, fighting its way to become the third-ranked guild in Fiore.

And Hime is no longer the little girl Mirajane left behind.

Under her father's guidance, she has begun walking the path of the sun herself.

Then, one ordinary day, impossible news reaches Magnolia.

Tenrou Island has returned.

And when Mirajane finally walks through the doors of Fairy Tail, she discovers that while only moments seemed to pass for her...

her husband and daughter lived seven years without her.

A story about overwhelming strength, family, loss, fatherhood, and the promise that no matter how long the darkness lasts-

the sun will always rise again.
