He rules the hearts and the charts. Well, this is Krish Kapoor on stage. For those who know him without the luminaries and cold pyros, he is still the volatile, brooding man, whose one glare has people rethinking their life choices. But as they say, once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale. And that fairytale was his Vaani for him. Vaani Batra. She is a passionate poetess and fervent lyricist, who pours her heart and soul into words. The ones that delineate his melodies, the ones the crowds hook onto. She sees beyond the aesthetic, calls the wrecks beautiful and heals before you know it. Though Alzheimer's enclaves her brain, her heart continues to live and love. And love she did, to the man whose gaze met hers and never swept away, who watches her go to sleep every night, who'd burn down heavens and hells just to have her beside him. He is her home, she is his world. He is her anchor, she is his muse. He is her verse, she lives in his melodies. And when they're in love, it's bound to be a chartbuster. But the world is a cruel place and fame a double-edged sword. Fabricated scandals, covetous eyes and clashing egos is a little to much to hide behind polished guitars and stage smoke. Isn't it?
