For eight years, the Infinity Killer has haunted Musutafu.

Among them is Rainb8w-Izumi Midoriya, a brilliant young Pro Hero with an unusual Quirk, an irritating sense of humor, and a talent for seeing patterns everyone else overlooks. Working alongside Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi and Shota Aizawa, Izumi helps reopen old assumptions and asks the questions the investigation should have asked years ago.

But Infinity is changing.

Hidden victims begin resurfacing. Carefully constructed clues point investigators in conflicting directions. Public messages turn the murders into a challenge, and every apparent breakthrough raises another question. Is Infinity making mistakes-or deliberately deciding what the police are allowed to find?

As the investigation expands through the police, U.A., the Hero Public Safety Commission, and Japan's Pro Heroes, the line between hunter and hunted begins to disappear. Profiles change.
