PLOT: 16 year old Braden Welsh comes from a troubled family whose parents aren't accepting of his identity. Over the summer, he visited his grandma and came out as gay to her. She supported him and bought him his dream wardrobe, and with his newfound confidence, he decided to stick up to his homophobic parents and be himself no matter what.
Now, he's starting his sophomore year of high school in a brand new city. On his first day of school, he meets four new friends; Denis, Alex, Elijah, and Sub. When he and Denis met, they both knew it was love at first sight, but they felt reluctant to share their feelings to eachother. Because of this, Denis started sending him anonymous love letters, waiting for the perfect moment to ask him out. When will he confess his feelings? How will Braden be able to balance school and his troubled home life?

"My Pastel Prince" is a fanfiction written by @WhoStoleMyDonut from mid 2018 to early 2019. All credits go to her for this AU. This is a rewrite (and yes I have permission from her to make this) that is almost identical to the original story at first but diverges in later chapters.
In the original story, there are sexual topics involving underage characters. I have CUT all of those explicit topics and scenes from this rewrite, as I don't condone that part of the original story. The original Pastel Prince is flawed but has a lot of potential to be an amazing fanfic, which is why I'm trying to make it more suitable for The Pals fandom in the current day.

Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved.
