Cursed

I deserve better.

My life hasn't treated me very kindly. For some strange reason, I was cursed the second I came out of the womb.

It's not my fault.

I often found myself repeating those words over and over and over throughout my life.

Life isn't fair. Kill yourself or get over it.

That was another thing I used to repeat over and over. Yet, for some reason, I never did either. I never got over it, and I never killed myself.

I did, however, have some awful habits. Or, more accurately, coping mechanisms.

Unfortunately, my life was far from simple. Far from boring, too.

I have a lot of regrets. But there's one in particular that I'm going to tell you about.

My biggest one yet.

It began when I was a little girl, getting accepted into Hogwarts.

A little girl who slowly began finding herself. Finding friends. And more importantly, finding her purpose.

Until Fifth year. When my story truly began.

That was when that little girl met him.

When I met him.
