They trained her together with the other group of half bloods who are willing to help her get the Elixier, a powerful pill that needs to be in the hands of Sandra to give her the ability of invading the world of demons. What she didnt know is that demons on the other side also have plans on the elixir's retrieval

Yet somehow they went so well together. It was fate. So, was it fate then, when on his sixteenth birthday, this boy...found his side. Only it wasn't angel by any means. It was pure and utter demon. Killing his human family in a rage after they'd brought him up for so long, he went to her next. The friend he'd relied on for so long, yet there was pure hate in his eyes. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

It doesn't take long to realize that it's just not possible. Maisie is everything that she shouldn't be in the human realm. Bigoted, rude, and annoyingly difficult. She can't even get close to Cecilia without making some sort of remark on how she can't stand Demons. As the time ticks down and options become less and less, maybe being handcuffed to each other will teach Cecilia and Maisie a thing or two about themselves. Maybe running from the past isn't the right choice and perhaps, maybe even a Demon and Angel could fall in love too. (Entered in the Open Novella Contest 2022 under prompt 79.
