What happens when a normal day turns into a fun filled, action packed, and psychotic adventure? Skye isn't your average girl. She never really knew her parents because she was put up for adoption when she was 6. They have always told her she was meant for greater things and that one day, they'll be back for her. People see her as a bad ass girl who has no future. She keeps most of her emotions bottled up and acts out aggressively, violently, and rebelliously. Since everyone has been too scared to talk to her, only two people know the real her. Her best friend Aleya is one of the only people she can trust. Her other best friend is Mason, Aleya's little brother. She puts her life aside to help them whenever they need it. They've all been close since second grade. They are inseparable. But what happens when Aleya meets her idols and can't take her eyes off them? When she can't fight the urge to sacrifice her life to save them during an apocalypse? Will Skye let her best friend throw away everything they've worked hard for? Will Skye finally find love? What happens when she finally turns 18 and her mother and father come and surprise her with unbelievable news?

In which two ex-step-siblings reconnect after just about blowing up their family the first time around... Three years ago, Maddie fell hard for Jacob Isaacs, the smartest boy in her school. The only problem was this: Her dad had quite literally gotten engaged to his mother. The two tried to dampen the flames of their burgeoning attraction for each other but not before they got caught and were the talk of the town for months. After the fall out, Maddie moved away to try and start her life over and not be known as the girl who got caught doing it with her 'brother' at prom. She hasn't seen her family in ages and intends to keep things that way. Jacob, on the other hand, has worked hard to accomplish everything he's ever dreamed of. He's stayed close to home, done exceptionally well at school, and is adored by just about everyone who meets him. There's only one problem: There's a Maddie-shaped hole where his heart used to be. But no matter how hard he tries to reach out and find her, he can't. She won't let him. He let her down and gave up on them when she needed him most. And she's not ready to forgive and forget. But then Maddie's dad passes and she's forced to come home for his funeral. It should be a quick visit. She intends to make it one. But Jacob has other plans. He let his girl slip through his fingers once and he won't let that happen again. So now he has to convince her to give him one more chance. After all, they're not related to each other anymore.

Growing up in a toxic environment, sixteen-year-old Jay Foster has always had psychological problems, coupled with a quick temper. But one night something happens which finally pushes him over the edge, and as a result, he leaves his house the next morning with two things: his mother's gun and a plan. Living with a neglectful and drug addicted mother wasn't easy for Jay, and it definitely didn't help that his father abandoned the family while he was still a child. He harbored a hatred toward his parents, and that hatred extended to almost everyone and everything around him, producing a very troubled and damaged young kid. As Jay enters high school, he becomes very intrigued with one of his classmates. Kind of obsessed, actually. Her name: Mikayla Keeler. Mikayla is very unique, and like Jay, she doesn't seem to fit in with her contemporaries. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.
