When the Shadow Civil War ended, their numbers had dwindled so much that it was decreed that Shadows breed with humans to help the repopulation effort. When Antonio Clarke planted his seed all those years ago, he hadn't anticipated his son becoming a famous popstar, nearly exposing the existence of Shadows to the human world.
Liam Payne is a Shadow. There is no denying his biology when he transforms into his Shadow form onstage. Forced to spend a few days in the Shadow Realm to regain control of his human form, his bandmates will join him in a show of support. But what will happen when a darkness starts to consume their lives?
And what of Yiv, who seems connected to the Shadows in a way even she doesn't know, and Terry, a One Direction obsessed fanboy, and Yiv's best friend?
Writing began 2013, so that's when this story is based.
