Lorraine once thought Ice would be the great love of her college life.
They were never officially together, but they came close enough for the memories to linger-the teasing, the stolen moments, the feelings neither of them quite knew what to do with. Then life happened, misunderstandings got in the way, and whatever could have been between them was left unfinished.
Years later, Lorraine is convinced she has already moved on. Ice is nothing more than a chapter from her younger, more foolish days-or so she tells herself.
But when their paths unexpectedly cross again, Lorraine quickly realizes that seeing him is much easier than dealing with everything he brings back. The butterflies she thought had long disappeared. The questions she never got to ask. And the possibility that maybe some feelings don't really vanish just because enough time has passed.
Now older, supposedly wiser, and determined not to make the same mistakes twice, Lorraine must figure out whether Ice is simply a beautiful reminder of what almost happened... or the love story that never truly got its ending.
