You are trembling

Rebecca Ferguson recieves a movie offer and takes the role because the script is good.
A successful, married woman in her forties sits for a portrait that will hang in her new office. The artist is younger, strange, quietly certain- someone who looks until the careful order starts to crack.

Her co-star is Emma D'Arcy.

From the first table read Emma occupies space as if it already belongs to them.
Rehearsals run long. Extra takes are requested for reasons that still sound like craft. A private run-through ends with Rebecca's back against a wall and a denial that neither of them believed.

Crew parties, night shoots, and a filmed kiss scene only make the line thinner.
The picture they are making is about hunger dressed up as work.
So is everything that happens when someone calls cut.

This is a slow-burn character study and erotic drama: power without shouting, tease without cheapness, a dominance that lives in looking, waiting, and the words open your mouth.

Rebecca has a husband, a reputation, and a tidy theory about what she is capable of wanting. Emma has patience, control and an unbelievably powerful presence.

On camera, they play desire and discovery. Off camera, Emma never raises their voice yet Rebecca always ends up obediently doing what they've wanted her to all along...

Suffocating desires, heavy power play...
Read this slow, intense unfolding of a woman being carefully taken apart by lust, love and control.
