Life was never normal for 18 year old, and senior Lydia McMillen. She has considered herself a freak because of her fox tail and ears. But with the foxtail and ears comes the ability to transform into a fox. But, she has no idea why she's like this or how she got this way. All she knows is that the necklace around her neck keeps her safe and gives off a powerful energy. She wants to know who she really is and what's the purpose of her having a fox tail and ears. She has hidden her tail and ears from her friends and the whole public because she's afraid she'll get discriminated against. If she can keep her tail and ears a secret, she might have the chance at a normal life. But, when a new teacher comes to her school and takes too much of an interest into her, Lydia begins to worry. This new teacher has been watching her and Lydia is scared that he might find out her secret. What scares her more though, is when her parents have been keeping a secret from her and Lydia goes and searches for her true parents. She decides to trust the one person she's scared of the most... the new teacher. Lydia thinks he might know more about why she has a tail and ears. But what she finds out instead, surprises her even more. Is Lydia's past coming back to haunt her in a way she never expected?

Rachel thought her best friend would never think of her as more than a friend, but then when she agrees to a party, her whole world is turned upside down. She can barely remember what happened, but knows it's enough to change things. Just as her relationship with Ryder takes off, she's involved in a car crash. Her past friend, Jason, finds out and comes to the hospital to visit her. Little does she know that Ryder and Jason were in a gang together before Ryder moved to her hometown. Ryder doesn't like the fact that Jason is around and maybe his being on edge comes with great reason. What happens when a legitimate ghost of Rachel's past comes back to haunt her? What about Ryder? Will he stay through the tension or will he break?
