What We Bury

Everyone at Hogwarts knows Ash Scamander.

Or, at least, they think they do.

Returning for her fourth year should have been simple: survive her classes, avoid questions she has no intention of answering, and stay as far away from Mattheo Riddle as humanly possible.
But strange things are beginning to happen beyond the castle walls.

Old names are being whispered again.
Magic long thought buried is stirring.
And when Ash begins seeing things that haven't happened yet, keeping the past where it belongs becomes considerably more difficult.

Especially when Mattheo starts asking the right questions. He knows she's hiding something.
She knows better than to let him discover what.
Because some secrets are kept to protect the people carrying them.
Some are buried because the truth would change everything.

And some things were never meant to stay buried at all.
