Penumbra

This is not a love story.
This is the story of a love that never met.

_Penumbra_ is a collection of soliloquies written in the shadow between light and dark. Like a kadupul that blooms only at midnight and withers before the sun can ever see it....these poems are about timings that were always wrong, words that were always folded, and portraits we hide in our darkest rooms.

Inspired by Ophelia's spleen, Dorian's portrait, and Hamlet's unfinished questions, these are not poems to be understood at once. They are meant to be read twice.

මේක ආදර කතාවක් නෙමෙයි.
මේක හමුවුණේ නැති ආදරේක කතාවක්.

_Penumbra_ කියන්නේ එළියයි අඳුරයි අතර තියෙන සෙවනැල්ලේ ලියවුණු කවි ටිකක්. ඉර එළිය දකින්න කලින් පරවී යන කඩුපුලක් වගේ....වෙලාව වැරදුණු හමුවීම්, හත අටකට නමලා හංගපු වචන, කළුවරේ හංගපු චිත්‍ර ගැන.

Ophelia ගේ වේදනාවෙන්, Dorian ගේ කළු චිත්‍රයෙන්, Hamlet ගේ ඉවර නොවුණු ප්‍රශ්න වලින් හැදුණු මේ කවි දෙපාරක් කියවන්න ඕන.
