Forever July [Mingyu x Wonwoo AU]

After Wonwoo's death, Mingyu notices something impossible:
Summer never ends.
Every morning is July.
The same sunlight.
The same warm wind.
The same cicadas.

Everyone else thinks time is moving normally.
Only Mingyu knows it isn't.
Then he begins seeing Wonwoo around town.
Not as a ghost.
Not exactly.
The problem is Wonwoo doesn't seem to know he's dead.

But every time Mingyu tries to tell Wonwoo the truth, another day disappears from the summer.

Eventually Mingyu realizes:
The summer isn't keeping Wonwoo here.

Mingyu is.
