A World Without Males

The world had forgotten what a man looked like.

Not because they had never existed.

Because it had been generations since anyone had seen one.

The statues had been removed from the cities. The old photographs had been locked away in museums. Books that once described fathers, sons, brothers, and husbands had become historical artifacts, studied by children who could barely understand the words.

In the new world, there were only women.

Women ruled the kingdoms.

Women commanded the armies.

Women built the cities, sailed the oceans, discovered new lands, and wrote the laws.

And in the Valley of Roses, where thousands of crimson flowers covered the mountainsides, one law stood above all others:

No male shall ever enter this world again.
