7 years ago everything changed on Awakening day.

Aproximately 5% of the population gained abilities beyond imagining, but the abilities had conditions in order to be used, some were simple but others were complex and dangerous.

After 2 years of crime and destruction the Enforcers were created to stop the criminal ability users named Outlaws, but not all the ability users were Enforcers or Outlaws there is also the Hidden, the ability users that stay hidden in fear or need for normality.

I am a Hidden, but after I stumble on a fight between a well known Outlaw group called Nefarious and Enforcers, I was taken hostage and I couldn't return to my normal life after that.

Follow Piper as she is forced to decide what side she is on, the battles to fight and who she will stay with.

They were born from the stars, but the world refuses to let them stay. It has been three years since the Genesis Flares, the solar phenomenon that gave birth to Astrans: beings with abilities beyond human comprehension. Some see them as miracles, others as abominations but to those in power, they are a threat that must be controlled, exploited, or eradicated. Fear spreads like wildfire, and war is inevitable. Among the displaced and the hunted, a survivor fights to carve out a future for her people, refusing to let them be erased from history. By her side stands the one who saved her, a sister in all but blood, a friend who has vowed to protect her, even if it means keeping dangerous secrets. As alliances fracture and loyalties are tested, they must navigate a world that has already decided what they are: enemies. In the heart of the conflict, two minds once dedicated to progress now wrestle with the weight of their own creations. One, a scientist bound by failing health, seeks to undo the greatest mistake of his life before time runs out. The other, an engineer thrust unwillingly into war, struggles between duty, regret, and the burden of being the only one left to fight. Lines blur between vengeance and justice, survival and sacrifice. The choices they make will determine not only the outcome of the war but the future of the Astrans themselves. Before the war, before the fear, they were all the same. They were all stardust once.

I looked at him in shock, "How do you know that?" "I know a lot of things about you, Ms. Prior, even things you don't know yourself." Excuse me? "From what you can do," he paused giving me a look before directing his gaze back at the field. "To your eye color. Your parents have blue ones, so I don't see how that works." What? He continued without question, "You are still a mystery to us, as you have never showed any signs of power before, so it's sort of confusing." He paused for a few seconds them said, "You're different; you have an ability. You're a Supernatural." "Ok, I really need to go so..." I began walking back, but he stuck out his arm to block me. And that's when it happened. Flames rose on his arms, lighting them on fire. I backed up, feeling the heat radiate off his arms. I was in utter shock, yet he looked relaxed, amused even. "What the hell are you?" I jumped back, and the fire went out, a smirk rising on his face. "I'm just like you." ***** Kayla Prior has always been a popular girl, and everyone looks up to her. She has always had something different from the rest of the crowd, and never knew what it was. There are others like her who support her every step. However, none can help her with what she is about to face. She's the key to defeating evil forces that lie in wait. She's being hunted down, and Kayla gets into a mess that no one can get her out of, except the ones she trusts...
