ABSOLUTE DRAGONBALL: Saiyan/Namek Saga

the last peaceful day on earth starts with a fish.

goku doesn't notice the star moving in the sky. piccolo does. by the time the pods land, it's already too late.

four saiyans. one planet. seventy-two hours.

yamcha dies first. then chiaotzu. then tien. then piccolo. each death is a lesson in how outmatched they are. goku pushes his body past its breaking point and still loses. vegeta doesn't just want to conquer earth-he wants to watch it break.

but the saiyans made one mistake. they killed the wrong mentor in front of the wrong child.

gohan is five years old. he's never wanted to fight. he's never wanted to be strong. but when piccolo dies in front of him, something ancient wakes up inside his blood. something the saiyans have feared for a thousand years.

the legend is real. and it's a child.

absolute dragonball z is a darker, serialized retelling of the saiyan saga. grounded power scaling. permanent deaths. transformations that hurt. this isn't the story you remember. it's the one that should have been told.
