She entered the palace to spy on him. She was never supposed to love him.

Noemi Sakari was raised to fear the winged Ilari who rule from the sky.

When rebellion sparks in the impoverished principality of Selavetia, twenty-three-year-old Noemi enters the prince's palace as a spy. Her task is simple: listen, count, survive, and send information back to the rebels before the ruling Houses crush them.

Then the High Council sends Eirran V'Asanii, a royal of the powerful Fifth House and former warrior Seraph whose name has been worshipped and feared for decades.

Eirran is supposed to restore order. Noemi is ordered to watch him.

Neither expects the other to become impossible to ignore.

But Noemi is lying to him, Eirran belongs to a world that considers her lesser, and rebellion is growing beneath both their feet. As deception gives way to trust, and trust to forbidden love, every choice draws them closer to a truth neither of them can survive unchanged.

Because loving each other might not be enough to save them.

But it might be enough to change their world.

A standalone tragic fantasy romance about a love that survived death and became the beginning of change.

Set in the world of Earthborn.
