Her Calming Touch

Autumn, molested by her stepfather at age ten, grew up fearing touch. Her mother divorced him while in prison and tried her best to get her help. Twenty years later, she's being attacked in the alley next to the cafe she works at with her mother.

A woman passing by rescues her, fighting her attacker. When the woman tries to assist her, she freaks out. The stranger takes a step back and asks permission to help her. With wide eyes, Autumn nods timidly, flinching under the woman's careful touch.

Remi, an off duty cop, was passing an alley by the local cafe, late at night. She heard a woman screaming for help and ran down the alley to fend off the woman's attacker. When she tries to help the woman, she freaks out.

She steps back before asking permission to help her. The woman's clothes were torn to shreds and bleeding from her neck where a knife had been held. With just a slight touch, the woman passes out from a panic attack.
