Breaking the Rules

While filming season two of The Vampire Diaries, Paul Wesley's routine is interrupted when internationally famous actress Aria Miller joins the cast as Ian Somerhalder's new love interest. Bubbly, outspoken, and effortlessly outgoing, Aria immediately brings a bright energy to the set, charming everyone around her and never hesitating to say exactly what's on her mind.

Paul is almost the complete opposite. Reserved, private, and grounded, he has a dry sense of humor and tends to observe more than he speaks. At first, Aria's larger-than-life personality seems like the last thing he'd have patience for. But the more time they spend together, the more intrigued Paul becomes by the woman behind the Hollywood image.

What starts as casual conversations and playful teasing slowly turns into something neither of them expected. Between long filming days, inside jokes, and moments away from the cameras, Aria and Paul begin developing a chemistry that's impossible to ignore. But with Aria's character romantically involved with Ian's Damon on-screen, figuring out what's real-and what's simply part of the show-may become complicated.
