Forty years ago, in Sunny City, lived a group of people with extraordinary supernatural abilities. They were known as the Galaxies.

For years, they lived peacefully among ordinary people until a group of scientists known as Wandel became obsessed with obtaining their powers. Rumours were spread that the Galaxies were dangerous, turning the people of Sunny City against them. Military forces hunted them down. Many were killed, while others were captured and subjected to secret experiments.

Among those who escaped were Ruel, his wife Kadia, their young son Damien, their families, and other Galaxies. Far from Sunny City, they built a hidden settlement and named it Downtown Hills.

Forty years later, Downtown Hills has become a thriving community where Galaxies live freely, believing the horrors of the past are finally behind them.

But their peace is about to be shattered.

When strange events begin occurring and signs of danger emerge, five college friends, Tracy, Reil, Sandy, Luca and Jordan, find themselves caught in a conflict far bigger than they imagined. Meanwhile, Danise, a young girl with mysterious abilities, begins uncovering secrets about herself and the community around her.

As an old threat slowly resurfaces, Downtown Hills is forced to confront the past it tried to bury.
