Anelon (english)

In a world where humans and monsters coexist without ever being allies, everything revolves around Anélon, the elemental souls monsters leave behind when they die. A human who absorbs one inherits the beast's power and unlocks a hybrid form, half human, half monster. Three Anélon in a lifetime, no more.

Khalen is fourteen, has no memory of his parents, and one problem: he grew up in the water nation without ever managing to wield its magic. He has a single goal, to become the greatest warrior in the country, and nobody around him believes it for a second.

The day he absorbs an Anélon far beyond what his essence can hold, he barely survives. What he does not know is the price. A sealed stone around his neck, a power he cannot control, and a body that is quietly starting to fail.

Alongside Arye, his childhood friend and the mind behind every plan, he will discover that his origins are not what he was told, and that the war which redrew the world fifteen years ago is far from over.
