Unlucky Circumstances

Book 3

Time resets again.

Belle, Axe, Gabriel, Miles, Josh, and the Phantom Thieves all wake up at the beginning of the Kamoshida arc with their memories of the previous timeline intact.

But this reset is different.

Everything is happening almost exactly like the original timeline.

And while the Phantom Thieves return to stealing the hearts of corrupt adults, a new threat begins terrorizing Tokyo.

Hawkmoth.

After being chosen by mysterious Miraculouses, Belle becomes Ladybug and Axe becomes Cat Noir. Neither knows who the other really is, and the magic of their transformations keeps everyone-including the Phantom Thieves-from discovering their identities.

Now Belle has three lives to balance:

Belle Heart.

Samari, Phantom Thief.

And Ladybug, protector of Tokyo.

Things only get worse when Cat Noir starts fighting alongside the Phantom Thieves and Ryuji becomes determined to recruit Ladybug to the team.

The only problem?

Ladybug is already a Phantom Thief.

With Akumas attacking the real world, Shadows waiting in the Metaverse, secret identities becoming harder to protect, and the timeline following a path they all remember far too well, the group is left with one question:

Why is fate trying so hard to repeat itself?
