After his grandfather Harold dies, archivist Rowan Hale inherits a trunk filled with old photographs, a letter, and the journal of Elena Hale-Harold's sister, who vanished from the isolated town of Eelridge in 1969. The family always believed Elena ran away. Harold's final message says otherwise.
Still grieving, Rowan travels to Eelridge searching for answers. Instead, he finds a town built on half-truths, missing records, strange rituals, and people who seem to remember more than they admit. Then midnight comes, and the day begins again.
Rowan remembers everything.
No one else does.
Trapped in a repeating cycle, Rowan uncovers the truth beneath Blackwater Lake: an ancient Entity feeds on fear, grief, guilt, and despair. Decades earlier, Elena and her friends accidentally awakened it. Elena was taken by the lake and became the Anchor that keeps the Entity trapped inside Eelridge.
The loop is not a curse. It is a cage.
To escape, Rowan must earn the town's trust, recover its buried history, and decide whether freeing Elena is worth the risk of freeing the thing she has kept contained for more than fifty years.
To save Eelridge, Rowan must do what everyone before him failed to do.
Remember.
