Sangreshiva's Curse

*This was a project for a college class that many of the other students enjoyed reading so I uploaded here thinking others may enjoy it.*
Alfie is a troubled man with a history of partying and known for his inability to settle down. He was forced to retire his past once his one-night stand, Sam, came to him with a dreaded positive test. Struggling to come to terms with his life changing overnight, Alfie turned to drinking and was commonly lashing out at Sam. One night, Alfie took things too far and chased his girlfriend out of the house in the dead of night. Having been drinking for most of the day, he was unable to locate her quickly and ended up getting himself abducted. He awakens within the confines of a forest he does not recognize and soon realizes why he was taken. He stumbles across a torchlit temple full of vampires working in a ritual. In this short thriller, Alfie sacrifices all but his own life trying to escape the clutches of the bloodsuckers, with a promise in his heart to be a better man. Will he make it out alive, or has the forest already forsaken his damned soul?
