Nika is absolutely ecstatic with her life.
Nothing could ever ruin her happiness.
She is cocky, rude, stubborn and a a total guy.
To top it off she is a werewolf.
A well loved one at that surprisingly.
Her mother is the enchanting Beta Kia, and her best friend happens to be the only son of the Alpha.
Nika is rearly 19 and her parents constantly hassle her to find a mate but that trivial stuff doesn't bother her when she is so buisy as it is.

Aiden is tall handsome and strong but doesn't let it go to his head. He is down to earth and a complete charmer. The complete opposite of his best friend Nika. He hates Florida, the heat and salt water and wants nothing more than to move up north in the mountains where his species belongs. But he knows that is impossible as he is the only Heir to the Alpha and the next in line to lead the pack. Just to add to his list of problems he will be 19 in two months and still hasn't found his mate.

Aiden's mother told him that she too hates Florida but why is she so reluctant to leave? And why does his parents cry every night afer his birthday. They have done it for as long as he can remember. Something is up, and he is bound to find out.

But what is to happen when the Alpha's mate goes missing, and they reject their position of leadership out of panic and fear for their loved one?

Poor Aiden is the one forced to stay home and pick up on his poor parents slack and take over temporarily.He knows he is to become Alpha eventually but he hopes not under these circumstances.
