Brownwyn Chmerkovskiy is a girl who's never experienced pack life. Her parents are powerful figures in the shifter government, AKA constantly busy. Her brother Vincent hopes that by moving her to a new town and enrolling her into an actual high school free from her normal stress she'll come out of her shell and learn to blend with other shifters. But having to keep up with training  and the looming urge to do the only thing she's born for doesn't go away.

Nolan Covoci has known Brownwyn practically her whole life. He's watched her grow and mature into the girl everyone sees today. He sees what this lifestyle has done and is still doing to her. He knows it doesn't have a positive effect. When she's old enough to no longer need a handler,  will he stay and continue to help or leave when his assignment time has been fulfilled?
