My name is Silver Jones, or at least it is now. I have been hiding in the witness protection program since I was a kid. I knew the rules. Stay quiet, stay invisible. If no one notices me, the less likely he will find me. But everything changes when I get to the small town of Hopesprings, Colorado. The town wasn't on a single map, so I guess my handlers thought it was the perfect place to hide. Everything goes unnoticed there, but that was until I learned the town's hidden secret. It wasn't on the map because it was built for the witness protection. This gave a whole new meaning to hiding in plain sight.
I'm not the only one being hunted down. The government decided to round us all up and place us together. It almost seems like they wanted a bright red target on our heads. Now it is easier to be found. I know he's coming for me, but the question remains. Who will he bring with him?
What happens when the town where everyone's hiding is found by their worst nightmares?
*****
This book is selected as mature because of the violence depicted and the language used. Although it does depict much blood, it isn't overly described. If at any point, the graphics are too much, stop reading and message me about it.
This novel does have spelling and grammar mistakes. This story is the first book I have ever uploaded to this site, and for those of you brave enough to read it, I applaud you. It really is horrible, like seriously bad. There are many plot holes and mistakes, so read at your own risk!

Alaric Oaks has been searching for his mate for five years while learning from other packs. His father, the current Alpha of Phantom Pack, has sent him on endless errands the last fifteen years. When a she-wolf thinks she trapped him into mating with her, he's fed up and heads home to claim his title. What he finds on his unexpected visit changes everything he's known for most of his life.
Heidi's only desire is to survive and someday run away. Her mate, if she has one, isn't in this pack. For years, the thought of him rescuing her from the misery was her only hope. She has no wolf to talk to or keep her company. Isolated, alone, and beaten daily, her last resort is leaving. Every time she's gotten close to the border, an invisible force stops her. Eventually, all she wants to do is die.
Authors note: this is intended to be the third book in a series. Book 1 is Athena's Human Mate, book 2 is The Orhaned Luna. You do not need to read the others to understand this story. Based on feedback I've gotten, I have made a few changes, but haven't gone through to edit the others yet.
Ages! Wolf spirits wake up and can talk to their human at age 10 and mind-link. The first shift happens at 13. Finally, the mate bond isn't felt until age 21. It's 18 in the other stories.
I hope you enjoy it!
