Braelyn Matthews is the daughter of notorious drug dealer and addict Hunter Matthews. Her childhood is a little different than all of the other kids who grew up around her. And her life changed when the FBI finally found her father's stash of drugs.
Her father knew what he was doing was wrong. He never wanted her to follow in his footsteps. So, instead, he got it in her head that she wanted to help people like him, without ever letting her know that something was wrong with him.
While her father lives his life in jail, Braelyn lives her life counseling addicts, inside of prison. That's how she sees him now, her father, in person, instead of from behind a glass.
But, she doesn't only work with inmates. She has her own practice.
And that's how she meets Tony Perry, because at twenty seven years old he shouldn't be partying as much as he does.
Braelyn isn't the nicest person in the world. She tells it how she sees it. She calls people out. Tony doesn't even want to be there, in her office.
So, can she help him? But, most importantly, can Tony help Braelyn?
