Thea is a girl with cancer but unlike many people she isn't worried about her own health, she is worried for her sister's health. Thea's sister Clara also has cancer and as they both have to have the same treatment and suffer from the same conditions . If it wasn't for Clara, Thea probably wouldn't be ill with cancer at all, as it spreads from siblings but Thea wouldn't have it any other way. Yes there is the odd occasion that she wishes she could have somebody else's diaphragm but she wouldn't want her sister to feel like she was the only one, as they both go through the stages their love grows stronger and stronger as they have the same treatment and have to overcome the same obstacles.
