Angel was what she was named. She thought she was exactly the opposite. She was treated like a demon for so long she started to believe she was one. Abused by her adopted parents she thought she was not worth anything. One day the abuse was so bad she freaked out and her abilities were revealed. She was like a storm uncontrollable. Frightened to death about what the world would think of her she has been on the run. On the streets, she meets a friend (Essence) who is also a mutant. They become close friends and are both on the run together. With Essence, she discovers she has another ability. Too scared to use her first ability she learns her new second ability on her journey with Essence. Everything seems to be going alright but her third ability manifests and if she wasn't on the run before she definitely is now. With Essence gone in the mix, she is on her own.
