Stone cold Soda Lifley has worked hard to be the most celebrated girl in school. When she wins an election sponsored by a local soft-drink brand, nobody is surprised. But when the election turns out to be a cover for an ambitious new advertising agency, Soda lands a do-or-die job to transfer to a new school and claim the throne of popularity, so she can secretly push products on the students. But the rural locale, the school's current queen B, and Soda's own maddening need for perfection don't make the work easy.
