Arabella Stark had always been Tony's little sister.

It didn't matter that there were nineteen years between them, or that somewhere along the way Tony had become less of a brother and more of the person who raised her. He was her best friend, her family, and the one person she had always believed would come home.

Until Afghanistan.

Three months of waiting for a brother everyone else was slowly starting to believe was dead changed something in Arabella. And when Tony finally came home, metal in his chest and a very obvious death wish, she realised things were never going back to normal.

Then came Iron Man.

Then the Avengers.

And somewhere between aliens falling from the sky, her growing friendship with a Russian assassin and Tony finding increasingly creative ways to nearly get himself killed, there was Steve Rogers.

Annoyingly good Steve Rogers.

Stubborn Steve Rogers.

Steve Rogers, who she definitely did not have feelings for.

Probably.

Arabella had spent her entire life being known as the other Stark.

She just never expected figuring out who she was without Tony to involve saving the world along the way.

Or falling in love with Captain America.

But then again, nothing about being a Stark had ever been simple.
