Keeping Neverland

Neverland had rules.

-No phones.
-Don't stare.
-Don't ask questions.
-Don't speak unless spoken to.
-Certain doors were off-limits.
-Do NOT enter the Master Suite under any circumstances.

Y/N had no intention of breaking any of them.

She came to Neverland for a job. A good one. Good enough to give her the money she needed to restore the old house her recently deceased grandmother Avery left her.

Neverland was unlike anything she'd ever seen. The rules were unlike anything she'd ever worked under. And Michael Jackson was someone she'd spent most of her life knowing only from a screen or speakers.

Y/N kept her head down, did her work, and stayed out of places she wasn't supposed to.

For a while, she thought the rules were the hardest part.
