The Alpha Who Couldn't Smell Her

Orm is used to Alphas reacting to her before they really know her.

Lingling doesn't.

She's an Alpha who has never been able to smell, which means Orm's scent, her pheromones, and every instinctive signal Omegas are taught to expect mean absolutely nothing to her.

For the first time, Orm finds herself around an Alpha who has to notice her the old-fashioned way: by paying attention.

What begins with a saved seat and too many study sessions slowly becomes something neither of them knows how to name. Because if Lingling can't smell attraction, compatibility, or instinct, then every look, every touch, and every choice between them has to mean something on its own.

And maybe that's exactly why it matters.
