What happens when the person you still love becomes someone your body remembers being afraid of? I Said I Wasn't Leaving lives in the space between love and anger, forgiveness and fear, staying and still being hurt. It is about taking accountability for your own mistakes without carrying the blame for someone else's choices. About saying "I still love you" while another part of you is screaming "look what you did to me." Because sometimes, staying doesn't mean the pain disappeared. Sometimes forgiveness doesn't feel like peace. And sometimes the hardest person to understand after being hurt isn't the person who hurt you- it's the version of yourself that still loves them.
